Worship

At Eyemouth Parish Church we welcome all who want to worship God and learn more about Him and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Worship

We meet to worship as a Church family on Sundays at 10.30am. All are made welcome and there is a Sunday Club for the younger members of the congregation, which takes place during the second part of the service. Our Sunday services take a relaxed yet traditional form. Music is a blended mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary songs ably led by both our organist or our budding group of muscians. Tea and coffee are served in the fellowship area each week after the service and this gives us an added opportunity of fellowship and welcoming visitors.

On the fourth Sundays in January, April, June and October, the sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated during the morning service. On the last Sunday evening of each month there is a joint evening service with other local churches. The evening service is at 6.30pm and is lead by the praise band, with mainly contemporary style worship and time for prayer and testimony.

Several teams are involved in different ways on a Sunday morning. A welcome team is ready to greet members and visitors. Each week a member of the congregation does the Bible reading. There is a rota of members who lead prayers on a Sunday along with the minister and on the few occasions in the year that a minister is unable to be present there is a small group who have undergone training, who lead worship.

The hearing loop in the church has recently been replaced and with the completion of the refurbishment in 2023 there is access for disabled through the new side entrance. We also livestream our Sunday Morning Worship available on both Facebook and Youtube.
