There is a quarterly joint newsletter which is distributed to the congregation and supporters.

Activities with other congregations

These meetings all take place in Eyemouth Parish Church hall.

Home Groups meet fortnightly and are a chance for folks to gather together for coffee, tea and chat, based in peoples homes. These groups give us all the chance to grow friendships and share together, but also to discuss spiritual things and explore our faiths together. If you would be interested in joining a house group, then please speak to Andy or Ishbel.

“Away Days” are organised twice a year to Holy Island. Usually the autumn day is led by members of the groups but a speaker is invited for the spring day.

A Prayer Breakfast is held monthly when issues relating to the local community are the main focus for prayer but other issues of topical concern are also prayed for.

A Weekly Prayer Gathering is held every Tuesday morning in the Session Room for issues relating mainly to the congregations of the linkage.

East Berwickshire Churches Together hold regular evening service which rotates round the various congregations involved.

Support for concerns out with the congregation

We are registered as a Fair Trade Congregation.

Every year we support Christian Aid Week and also raise money for Christian Aid as part of our Harvest Service.

Berwickshire Christian Youth Trust (BCYT)

BCYT is a charity supported by congregations across the county and has one full time and one part time youth worker. It is part of the Associate Worker Scheme run by Scripture Union Scotland. As part of the Presbytery Plan Eyemouth Parish Church, along with other local congregations, works closely with the BCYT workers in providing chaplaincy to both the Primary and Secondary schools in the town. Currently BCYT run a weekly evening club for P 6 & 7 pupils in the primary school, are involved in RME in the primary school and some school assemblies.
